The bar chart above presents the information about the percentage dstribution of men and women as teachers in six different educational levels: Pre- School,secondary, college, private trainning institute and university, in UK during 2010.

Overall, the percentage of female teachers was higher than male in three of six levels, while the percentage of men was only higher than female in two educational settings.

The highest female contribution to the percentage of teachers is given in pre-school, that overcome the male contribution with 96 per cent vs 4 per cent.Moreover, according to the bars realted with primary and secondary school, the female teachers percentage continue surprassing the male one.

The chart also shows a equality in the distribution of male and female teachers in college, where for both of them the percentage is 50 per cent.

On the other hand, the settings where female teachers percentage is overmatched by male, are private trainning institute, with a diference of 8 per cent, and university where male teachers ocuppated a higher percentage of the distribution with 70 per cent vs 50 per cent.
