  • My Job.

  • I work at a small grocery store as a supply manager.
  • My main duty is to make an application for the purchase of goods to providers.
  • It happens this way.
  • I am in the office at a computer.
  • I open a special computer program and generate a report which shows me sales turnover in a particular period of time.
  • Due to this report I analyze which goods I need to order and how much.
  • Then I make a list of needed goods and divide it by vendors.
  • After that I send each part of the list to proper provider via email or call to provider’s office.
  • Sometimes trading agents come to my office to offer me new products.
  • This is the most interesting part of my job.
  • Because ordering goods by using sales turnover reports is a boring process and reminds me math tasks at school.
  • Meanwhile, ordering with trading agent is always accompanied by explanations about features of the new product, new methods of production or packaging.
  • Often trading agents give some pieces of marketing advice.
  • But overall my job is very boring and requiring considerable mental efforts.
  • I am sure in the West there is no demand in workers of this type and the entire process of goods supply is totally automated.
