It will be sure that in the near future almost everybody will have an mobile device like a smartphone or tablet.
The technology and functions of this devices will get better and better.
These devices are predestinated to support indoor navigation.
The current problem of indoor navigation is the fact that gps signals cannot be used in buildings.
The reason of that is that signals of GPS are way to weak to go through walls.
So people have to think about other solutions.
One of them is the use of visual markers like QR-Codes.
The current technology of mobile devices and QR-Codes as information storeage build a perfect base for this matter.
