Although there are examples of explicit environmental justice actions in other parts of the world outside the US-the UK, the Indian subcontinent, Nigeria are clear examples- few if any places have developed an 'Environmental justice paradigm' including the environmental justice vocabulary and range of organizations which exists in the US.
