During the 4 years that I attend the college, I wrote the script for two short movies of friends of mine, made two shorts of my own and worked on a dozen of others.
Make all those films were really helpful, because it showed me that the illusion was not easy to create.
It requires hard work and professional technique.
I am willing to work as hard as a peasant in the harvest season, but I do not feel I have the professional technique to perform the trick.
My undergraduation major was indeed good, but it was only a introduction to the mysteries of filmmaking.
It past two years since I graduated from Film School.
Adulthooh means you have to work, earn your money, pay your bills, it does not matter if you are a engineer or a filmmaker, eneryone has to eat.
I've worked in the last couple of years, went to many sets, shooted many TV commercials, short movies, experimental stuff, most of time as production manager or assistant director.
I have made a couple of films, sent a half-dozen of projects to public funding iniciative.
It is the marriage time.
My relashionship with film is a lifetime commitment.
However, I do not want to work as a producer for the last of my life, not even as a assistant director.
I fell in love for film not because I want to manage a big production or fill sheets, but rather because it made me good and happy, like anything eles in the world.
It is time for offsprings.
I do not want to make small tricks forever, take a coin out of a ear.
I want to sew a woman in a half.
To achieve this, I have to improve my techinique and attend a MFA in Screewriting would be a awesome way to do this.
It would give me the oportunity to learn how to craft sofisticated pieces of enterneinment.
If you are looking for a experimented screenwriters, with a long history of movies and scripts, I am not your guy.
I am the guy with just a few experience, but with lots of new ideas and willing to dedicate his life to it.
