in the old decades, countries were adopting small-scale farming to produce their limited needs of food comparing to the current growing needs . recently demand for food has been growing much more than before . that pushed the countries to change old strategies into following new ways of a large-scale productions and a large industrial operations . as a result . prices have been quite reduced . on the other hand thousands of animals have been wasted , greenhouse gases have been produced and many other negatives. some experts say these developed ways are good to meet the growing demands of food . others are concerned about the antibiotics and chemicals being put in the animals feed . they also criticise the conditions in which the animals are kept lately , today people are returning to small-scale farming.demanding production grown locally on small farms. they believe it's more productive and healthier even more safe for raising animals under humane conditions inside the country .
