You can find some details about different books there, such as a brief introduction, volumes and an estimate quality of the book by its rating.

Just as you can guess, there is a side-effect and a dark side to almost everything and GoodReads is not an exception here.

Sometimes you like a book but you don’t find it popular at the site and it means either you are weird to like such book or the book was not lucky not many people know about it which in term gives rise to this question that why you among all people came to know about it ^__^ Again, when you want to choose your next book, you don’t dare to go for your own taste, lest you find it unpopular.
