I ever lived an old-age house on a hill where is near by a little harbor old in the northeastern angle of Taiwan Island.

Overlooking form the rusty window, I could see the full view of the harbor.

Around the shore were various shops, such as restaurants, coffee shops, crew bars, fish markets, hardware shops, and so on, where provided plentiful services for not only the local people but the visitors as well.

Although I had never adapted the smell from the salty wind and the terrible fishy odor, most awfully, I told myself that as soon as I am familiar with the place and the people, I will be used to those nasty smells.

It was the time when the kindness still remained in people's hearts, and the gentleness could be felt from every greeting while you were walking on the street.

Smile was the common language without any embellishment among people.
