European Union consist of 28 member states, but languages, which spoken in Europe much more.
Language - is not only a set of words.
Also it's a way to express thoughts.
Every year, 26 September we celebrate the European Day of Languages.
Now more and more people are studying or speaks freely one foreign language.
The main purpose was attract the attention to studying other languages, and not only English, which popular from start of 90th.
He is encourages learning languages not only at the primary level in school but and outside.
The most popular languages used in Europe are English, of course (38%), German (15%), French (14%), Russian (7%) and then Spanish and Italian (5% and 3%).
After a big downturn of interest to the Russian language he is again become one of the most
studied.
Although Slavic languages are studied weakly, Russian was able to take the honorable 4th place among the most popular languages in Europe.
The problem is that the majority are working with language which is the most profitable for them.
And I think that is English.
European Day of languages wants to attract attention to not so popular languages like Polish, Czech, Swedish, Estonian etc.
In general, you can not learn the language.
However, language can be taught. All life.
Even your native language.
And use the expression "speak the language in perfection" it would be incorrect.
Despite the popularity of English, French or Spanish the European Day of languages can celebrate ukrainians.
Hope, in future foreign languages will be studied by all the people.
