Learning a language means that you can use it to describe your feeling and your thinking to native people.
The problem is Japanese is not the kind of language which you speak fluently by learning in a short time.

But still there many tricks for Japanese basic learner to make impression of your Japanese.
One of the tricks is using dialect words.
In Japanese, the dialect words are called "perfecture - ben".
The most famous dialect word for Japanese learner is "Osaka ben", i guess every Japanese learner have ever used "Wakarahen" ( I don't understand) or " Sukiyanen" (I like it) at least one time in their life.
Also, i bet using Okoshiyasu ( Welcome) or Ookini ( Thank you) for Kyoto people and "Mensore" (Welcome) for Okinawa people is a good way to show your good will to them.
