The water in this river is very clean and I even once heard that it takes the third place in the world in purity.
Labid is surrounded by forests, but the trees are not high, because there are no tall trees in the north at all.
If you go out of town for a couple of miles you will see tundra - a simply pure space without trees and hills - only flat space to the horizon, moss and numerous lakes.
Very beautiful landscape. I love it.
What else to say?
There are very severe and long winters in this city.
There are often snowstorms in winters and school classes are often canceled because of it.
So when I was a kid I was glad of blizzard because school classes could have been canceled and I had a chance to stay at home.
And there live reindeers and polar owls.
Natives breed reindeers.
They have large herds of reindeers.
