We already know international travelling industry have generated large revenue in many nations, and it appears the foreign visitors is increasing in a big way.

Should an additional charge be paid by foreign visitors？ This issue made many governments into a dilemma situation.

People travel for a slew of purposes.

One popular intention is expanding their horizon and sharing exotic cultures.

An equal admission fee will undoubtedly help improving the visiting flows.

In other words, an equal consuming environment can be a contributor for domestic cultures spreading.

A case in point is that Fenghuang city （An ancient city in China）offered a double standard to visitors —— local tourists can enjoyed a 60% discount, while extra visitors have to covering all fees without any discounting.

This unfair charge standard hampered the visitor volume which is a vital influence factor for the city’s reputation.

The same phenomenon can be extended to the worldwide tourist industry.

A discount of admission fee for local citizen was also regarded as a special welfare for domestic people.

However, I believe that this welfare can be accomplished by many other channels such as lower taxes, strengthen medical security system or well funded for charity, etc. Many people believe that a higher charge for foreigner can collect more capital for facilities’ maintenance.

But an implicit fact is the unfair regulations may obstruct the visiting mood of some other foreign visitor who not only can bring more generous funding, but also are free publicity officers.

A virtuous circle can provide a booming business and diversified patterns.

In contrast, an incorrect decision will may ruin the future of a country’s tourist industry.

Fair charge is a “win-win” process, and the potential advantages of this process are immeasurable.

I believe uniform charging standard should be spread to almost every country, especially in multicultural countries that are in urgent need of culture export.
