This implies that the 2 parties have to present a realistic program because they have the same chance to be elected (two party system).

> Here, the role of the minority will be to remind the winner party to well implement his program that it had presented during the campaign.

> Moreover, if the program during its mandate isn’t adapted to the social events anymore, it will have to review its program because the minority can have the opportunity to do this revision since it is not fix to its program anymore.

So, we have an important supervision of the minority that takes over from the public opinion.

CCL: To put it in a nutshell, the opposition owns a true institutionalized role, respected and recognized in the UK.

It may oppose the Prime Minister and his cabinet and in addition it may emphasize his arguments and ideas/insights.

This Westminster model is therefore shown as an example and can be interested for the other democracies regarding to this good understanding btw the majority and the minority party.
