Since I love books and reading so much, I decided to start suggesting you every month a book that, in my opinion, is worth reading.

So get ready to fill your bookshelves, here’s November’s book suggestion!

Giovanni’s Room, by James Baldwin In the liberated Paris of the Fifties David, a young American boy escaped from his country, lives tormented by a great mystery: Who is he really?

There he makes some experiences that take him to understanding himself better, no matter if he wants it or not, and that will make him open his eyes to his own reality.

While his girlfriend, to whom he has just proposed, is traveling around Spain, David meets Giovanni, a young Italian bartender with whom he will live a deep and frightening passion that will take him to the obligation of getting to know his feelings and admitting to himself that truth he has been hiding for many years.

This book is definitely one of my favourite.

The author takes the work of building a sentence to a level that almost reaches the level of art.

A huge sensibility, lots of passion and many strong feelings are going through this book and the melody of its words is a pleasure for the eyes.
