This also compares the quantity of minutes occurred by local line, National and International line and Mobile calls.

As it can be seen on the chart, the most popular category of calls during this period of time was occurred by Local line.

This type of telephoning reached a peak of popularity in 1999 (at 90 billion minutes).

However, by 2002 the number of minutes dropped to 72 billion minutes and equalized the rates of 1995.

The rates of National and International calls rose gradually from 37 billion minutes in 1995 to 61 billion minutes till 2002.

Finally, the quantity of Mobile calls increased significantly over ten times (from 4 to 45 billion minutes) by 2002.

To conclude, Local calls were still the most popular type of telephoning in 2002, however, its popularity started decreasing simultaneously with the rise of popularity of Mobile calls.

Mobile calls still hadn`t reached the rates of Local calls and National and International calls by 2002.
