Voglio imparare italiano e devo praticare!

First English lesson, we capitalize the name of the language, and "I try" should be "I will try" (future) -- to improve your sentence, I would say, "Hi... I would like a penpal to improve my English and I will try and teach you Italian" (to is correct, but and is more natural for me).
