Do you want to be able to understand native American speak?

If you can read English, but can’t understand Americans when they speak, a series of iPhone apps call “Learn English by Radio” is really helpful. The audio can be played at either original speed or a slower speed. The slower speed really helps you develop an ear for English. There are also lots of links to idiom, vocab, grammar, and pronunciation clarifications. It is also a lot of fun, since it is based on classic American radio shows like Dragnet and Gunsmoke.  Here is a link to one of the apps:
