French for English?

Salut :-)

I am on a search to find a long term language exchange partner (and friend) who can teach me French and wouldn't mind using skype. I don't just want to know the words, phrases, and grammar just to pass a class, but be able to speak it fluently and casually. I am studying IB with a European trade minor and hoping that French will help my career. (I am also hoping to study abroad there spring 2015)

I literally only know words at the moment since I am at the very beginning of the beginners guide. I have only so far been able to watch clips on youtube. (My actual language classes don't start until Spring) I have found quite a few online programs to learn some basic French though.
