I am studying Georgian in preparation for my trip to

Tbilisi and course there in Georgian Language.    It

will also be a tourist trip and a study in music, dancing,

and culture.    So far I really enjoy Georgian.    My trip and

course will be from September 4, 2011 to October 6, 2011.

Since I you did not type your message in Kartuli ena

I could not put it into Google Translator to get an

approximate idea of word correspondence to English.

I think I have a fairly good idea from my studies so

far however.      I gather that if you speak in Georgian

to them, they will answer a Tourist in Russian, English,

or possibly German.      Linguistically that is even more

difficult than Hungary where I visited before.      They speak

Hungarian, German, and very little English there mainly

Hungarian.      I almost, figuratively, at least, lost my head!

გამარჯოთ
Georgian Languages and tourism is my guide for this trip.
If I had your phone number I could phone and we could
meet later.    I expect to be very busy, though, and some
paranoia - as there could be protests in Tbilisi.    The
people who live there will not be worrying so much but
I would think the war with Russia must have been quite
terrible.
