Does somebody have Hiragana/Katakana Software?

I need software that help me to write hiragana and katakana. Since i am an indonesian and there are no japanese keyboard here, so i need a kind of software (free of course hahah) to write japanese character. Because it's hard to make email by latin alphabet keyboard if i want to write in hiragana.



Could somebody help me????

You should be able to goto the control panel, then regional and language options and select a Japanese IME. You will need the Eastern Asian Language packs installed (some 200-300MB, iirc). If you set it up right, you should be able to switch to that IME, then press alt + ` and start typing and it will show up as Hiragana, you can then press space to convert to Kanji.

For Linux you (if anyone with linux searches help in this topic ^^) could use UIM or SCIM (as I understood I didn't install it, yet).

I know your problem, i'd the same one before...

I couldn't buy a japanese keyboard,  but a system in my computer could get japanese writing... I don't know if you can do the same thing (i've a Machintosh computer) but i hope i've been useful ^^
