My English, French or Italian for your German

  Guten Tag!

I am trying to learn German on my own but I have to admit that books are not the best tool out there... Therefore, I thought I would ask here in order to see if there was someone nice enough to teach me a bit of German? I would describe my current level as total beginner but I normally tend to be a fast-ish learner when it comes to languages. I would like to make a mail/MSN/Skype friend in order to improve my conversational skills and also just have a good time chatting with someone from a different culture.
