New to the Language

Komdu Sæl(l),

I'm very new to the language- only just starting. I'm trying to find resources to learn it- but haven't had too much luck.  I'll probably have to buy some books and such but haven't had a chance to yet.  I think 'Learning Icelandic' or something is supposed to be very good.  So any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also a native English speaker so if someone's willing to give me advice on it in exchange for help with english I'd be happy to try and help.
