Hi,
I´m a nice guy from Argentina whose roots trace back to Lungro, a small city in Calabria, Southern Italy. My family never paid attention to this cultural heritage and most of it, including the language, has been lost. Since I´m quite interested in language and cultural stuff, I´m trying to "trace back" my origins to learn from them, thus... anyone who is familiar with Arbëresh, this Albanian dialect spoken there, and Arbëresh culture will be friendly welcome.
Thanks for your attention!

The questions which you are seeking I am more then happy to answer for you.
Arberesh people are originated from Albania, they are the some of the family and people from the village where our greatest hero was from, Gjergj Kastrioti. He was the general of the Albanian armies during the Ottoman invasion to Europe, he held back the Turks for over 25 years and stopped them from entering Rome. After his death you're family and many fled and went to Sicily where they remained until today.
You are by blood an Albanian, here is a video on the Arbereshi of Sicily.
