Konnichiwa!

As an answer to "ogenki desu ka" you'll say "Genki desu" (= "I'm fine")  or "okage sama de genki desu" (= "I'm fine, thanks God").

Well, I am not a Japanese, but I am a Brazilian who speaks Portuguese as mother tongue and who is really interested in Japanese language. I can teach if you want, because I am a Japanese teacher and translator (bear in mind that this doesn't mean I am an expert and that I don't to learn anything else actually, I have to brush on my Japanese knowledge). I love this wonderful and quite beautiful language.
