Mandarin radio and TV? Please help

Hi all!

I'm just beginning to learn Mandarin, and to get used to listening, I wanted to listen to / watch mandarin TV shows. I can't seem to find any mp3s or anything like this to download. If anyone knows where to download these, please let me know? Thank you! I'm really looking for either mandarin kid's shows, or soap opera type radio programs.
