Any Russian movies/music...etc..

Hi, I'm learning Russian so I need some GOOD, interesting new movies to watch. Any suggestions??

Also, any new popular Russian music I can listen to, or anything of the sort??

Does anyone know of a website that plays Russian movies/shows with Russian subtitles??

I can suggest English or American movies/music to you in return.

As for movies I recommend you to focus on soviet movies of 60-70 yrs..

They are far better from all points of view: their professional level and the "quality of language" (I hope you don't wanna start with a Harlem slang=))

The modern ones are  a complete disaster with some exceptions  although they of course more reflect the contemporary life in Russia..

If you like comedies  have a look at Leonid Gaidai (Леонид Гайдай)  movies.. They are very easy to look and have a good language and pronunciation (what is very important for you and what I  cannot say the modern movies have) and the professional level is very high.

That is only an example. There is a lot more.

Hello

Well its hard to recomend GOOD movies cause we can have diffrent taste. But i am recomending you watch russian movie The Strool(Прогулка). And you even can find subtitles in english. Also nice movie is Розыгрыш about school life.

I dont know which kind of music you like so cant really recomend much. Well i am listening Король и Шут, Ария. and etc. Well you can search for them but i dont think that you will like it. Its hard rock.
