Well, we use these letters but learn European languages successfully. Many people learn, say, Chinese. Just don't give up, and you will do it.

  the most important thng for me   right now is to understand what is writen and to write   what i want in russian. i think that it is difficult for me because of different letters.

What topics do you need most of all (conversational Russian, something professional, Russian for travelling, etc.).
