Ndeipi everyone,

I will be blessed to learn a bit of ChiShona for the same reasons as above: my hubby is a Zimboman (living in UK), and I want to surprise him. More, we plan to move to Harare to live so it would be great if I coud understand and make me understood!

For the moment, I have learnt a few words thanx to some of his friends, and I downloaded the ChiShona Bible Audio and written lol to get used to the sound and see how some words are pronounced.

Thanx to everyone who will be able to help me on my searchs.

My fiance' is Shona, he is currently in Zim studying and I know for me to learn his mother tongue would mean the world to him. I am English and he has learned my mother tongue, he is even learning my second laanguage Afikaans. He is my future husband, the man I want to be father of my children, I would love for communication to be free flowing at all times.

Please teach me or tell me how I can learn. In my country there are no Shona classes or books or cd's to teach you how to speak the language.

I would be forever grateful.
