🤝 What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for "Gyeonggi Language EXchange," is the premier language exchange Meetup in Gyeonggi Province, boasting over 3,600 members since its inception in 2015. We offer a completely FREE language exchange program called "GLEXathon," where Koreans and foreigners can connect and practice languages together. Whether you're eager to enhance your skills in Korean, English, Chinese, or explore other languages, don’t hesitate to sign up and join us!

⏰ Meetup Schedule:
Join us every Wednesday! The first session runs from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, followed by the second session starting at 9:30 PM.

🌏 Location Details:
The first session takes place at '2morrow Cafe', while the second session is hosted at 'Free Style' Pub. '2morrow Cafe' is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jungang Station, right in front of the Lotte Cinema Central Rock building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸 Cost:
Joining us is absolutely FREE! However, we kindly ask that each attendee orders at least one drink during their visit.

✌ Optional Second Session:
If you’re interested, stick around for the second round at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Enjoy darts, pocket games, and a casual atmosphere with friends – the choice is yours!

✅ How to Attend GLEX (Required Steps):
STEP 1: If you don’t have an account, please create one on our Meetup site.
STEP 2: Select the date you wish to attend on the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button. We welcome those who are genuinely interested in joining.
STEP 3: Please send a message containing your name, Meetup account name, and contact number to the organizer at 010-8900-0579 (for English speakers) or via KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. This information helps us with member verification.
STEP 4: Arrive with a positive demeanor and introduce yourself to the organizer. Late arrivals are perfectly fine.

• If you have even a slight interest in attending, please register.
• Cancellations can be made anytime through our site or by contacting the organizer.
• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
• No penalties for those who RSVP but do not attend, but we kindly ask against making it a habit.
• Please remember, it’s better to RSVP and not show than to come without registering (unregistered attendance is not allowed).

⏰ MEETUP TIME:
Every Wednesday evening - 1st round is from 7PM to 9:30PM / 2nd round is from 9:30 and on.

💸 COST:
There is absolutely NO COST to join. Of course, you should pay for any food or drinks that you might want to have at the venue. Every attending member is required to order at least one beverage.

✌ THE (OPTIONAL) SECOND ROUND:
Feel free to join us for our after Meetup gathering at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Attendees are not obligated to do or pay for anything.

✅ REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN (MANDATORY):
STEP 1: Please sign up for an account at our Meetup site if you don't already have one.
STEP 2: To register that you will attend, please click the RSVP registration button on the GLEX Meetup page for the day that you would like to attend. Please do not register to attend if you are not serious about attending.
STEP 3: Send a message including your real name and Meetup account name along with contact number to the organizer by text message to 010-8900-0579 or by KakaoTalk to ID: yologlex. (Your name and number help us identify who you are for the sake of our other members.)
STEP 4: Show up with a positive attitude and let the organizer know who you are. Being a little late is no problem at all.

• Please RSVP and register to join anytime you think you might attend.
• RSVP cancellations can be made through our site at any time (or cancel by contacting an organizer).
• Registrations to attend can be made until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
• Although there is no penalty for those who RSVP and do not show up, please don't make a habit of it.
• It's better to RSVP and not show than to show up without RSVPing (Attending without registering is NOT allowed).
