Essay topic: "Maternal instinct/Becoming a parent" Personally, I feel like I would never be ready for becoming a mother.

At least not for another couple of years.

I strongly believe that a future mother must be all set for such a radical change in her life, she mst be ready not only physically but mentally as well.

It's important to be prepared for the baby's arrival.

This includes a financial stability of both parants.

But my observation indicates that lots of people, no matter what their situation is, are always seems to have an obstacle or unfavorable circumstances preventing them from such a step as bringing a new life into this world.

I've heard that most people are not ready mentally when they recieve the news informing them that they are about to become mommy and daddy.

I don't think that nine months are too short of a time to become ready for the parenthood.

Parants should start to prepare themselves way in advance for the future expention of their family.

Those who smoke and consume alcool should consider quiting such habits.

Better eating paterns would be a big plus and, of course, adapting regular working out routine into your weekly schedule during the last two or three years prior to impragnation would make a major difference during the labor.

I've met some women whose maternal instincts were so strong that they practicly begged their partner to have a baby together.

I might say that whose girls have their biological clock ticking loud and clear.

I am wondering though if there is another category of women whose maternal instinct is not so pronounced and who regret making that life-changing decision?

As it might seem a little overwhelming and long lasting as a task to be responsible for another human beeing's life for two or more decades.

I assume that having a baby is a heavy responsibility.

Or maybe it all comes down to having the right life partner and splitting the heavy load in two to make it easy and enjoyable enough to not be too owhevelmed?
