It must have been about two in the morning when my husband returned home.
At the time, I slept soundly when he tried to wake me up by ringing the doorbell.
Soon afterwards, I heard a noisy voice from outside windows.
It seemed a person was arguing.
I could not bear it and went to open the window.
A man soon climbed into my house.
I was scared though.
After I realized the man is my husband.
I was fast asleep again.
The next morning, he explained what had happened last night.
As usual, he got a ladder from the shed in the garden while he forgot his key.
I used to suggest this was danger of climbing to the window by the ladder.
Supposed that being found by a police, he must be asked to go to the station.
However, it came true last night.
A police asked him whether the windows needn’t being cleaned at the middle of night.
He nearly fell off the ladder when he saw a policeman.
The police did not believe him.
Even if my husband told him that he enjoyed cleaning the windows at night.
The police interrupted my husband’s explanation that he had forgotten his key, and started to climb towards him.
He was supposed to be staying in the station and being questioned unless I opened the window.
