  • Essay

  • No one would disagree that tourism has strongly developed in many countries for the last few years.
  • Such countries as Egypt, Spain, Thailand, Greece, Turkey and Italy let in an enormous crowd of tourist each year.
  • They provide a high-quality service to them for a reasonable price and have a high return out of this segment of economy.
  • However not every tourist has good manners, so the environment and the exterior of the cities suffers of litter, dropped by such people.
  • Many places in the world are now flooded with tourists and the range of their bad influence is sometimes catastrophic, and the government should ban tourism here.
  • For example on some shores of the Baikal there is no grass and soil left because of wheels cars, some “wild” tourists cut trees, burn fires, leave litter right there.
  • The government of the country can also support green tourism and encourage tourists to respect the area of the visit.
  • In some countries, which economy highly depends on tourism it would be a good solution.
  • To my mind the decision taken by the government of the country should be logical.
  • If the environment strongly suffers from tourists, then it should be prohibited to visit this place.
  • If the damage isn’t appreciable or the economic situation doesn’t let it to stop flows of tourists, then it should hold to a second strategy, to control them.
