  • In her article, „Now schools take aim at poor writers”, the author Solorzano Lucia (1984) reports that the young people have enormous difficulties in creating correctly the paper works.
  • First the author criticizes the teaching’s method of grammar and spelling at schools an then give three examples of how the writing skills may be honed more rigorously.
  • This text deals also in more detail with the problem of using by students the improper grammar when writing dissertations.
  • In educators’ opinion who were mentioned in one of the paragraphs, the possible reason for that is the influence of many electronic devices which the young people have grown up with.
  • In that way the students do not focus so much on using proper grammar and spelling words correctly.
  • And sincerely, it is not an easy task for the teachers to encourage students to put their thought on paper.
  • The authors shows that it is important to consider the change in behaviour of the involved people, namely students and teachers in order to improve writing skills.
