The main achievement of 2014 was certainly excellent passing of the German language exam called TestDAF ("Test of German as a foreign language") which confirms my German language proficiency at the upper-intermediate level.
The way to such results was quite complicated, because my German was far from perfection then I had started to prepare, the time limit was very tight and the budget constraint didn’t allow me to attend professional courses.
So the conditions were not merciful.
But this challenge facilitated my personal development and I acquired some useful skills and characteristics.
Some of them I am really proud of.
1.Firstly it is an ability never give up facing troubles, because nothing could be harder than this challenge likely, when during two months I had to translate about five articles in a day, learn all the unknown words from them, write several essays per day, constantly do the speaking tasks and in the same time accomplish all learning assignments.
So I can say I’ve acquired the immunity to suffering.
2.The second is a skill to collect, process and organize the huge volume of new information in a way it gives a high efficiency.
As I said before because of budget constraint I had to make up my own training program I'd like to go into detail about, but in the effort of time I'll refrain.
3.And the third but not the least is German fluency I achieved due to the preparation for TestDAF
