Dear Mr, My name is Johann Castaneda.

I’m contacting you because I have a strong interest in the work that you do at the COMET initiative and I would like to get involved in it.

Currently, I’m a human medicines evaluator at the French National Authority for Health (HAS) and I would like to move out to the UK soon.

I’m a young Colombian pharmacist and I have a French Master degree in public health focused in epidemiology.

Throughout my professional experience, I’ve gained depth knowledge in clinical epidemiology, particularly in clinical trials methodology applied to medicines evaluation.

I also have some experience in systematic reviews and the elaboration of European practice guidelines.

Consequently, I’ve become to realize how important the utilization of meaningful outcomes in medical research is for public health, as it defines the actual utility for society of the gained knowledge.
