  • There are a lot of myths about Russia which are popular to laugh at in many countries and I want to tell you something interesting about it.
  • The first myth is about harshness of our climate.
  • Well, in some parts of Russia the climate is really harsh and the temperature is very low.
  • But at the south part, for example, the temperature in winter doesn't usually get lower than minus 10-15°C.
  • And in summer the temperature is about 35-40°C in shadow!
  • That's super hot, isn't it?
  • The second one is about bears.
  • I really don't know why people think that they are our pets, but that's not true, we afraid of them really much!
  • (And some of us didn't see them in life at all).
  • Balalayka is also not the most common musical instrument.
  • Just a little people can play it.
  • And the last one is about vodka.
  • In cities you won't see a boozer in a usual day or in a weekend, we cannot drink vodka as water and feel okay about it.
  • Men usually drink beer, whisky or cognac if they do.
  • And women prefer wine or champagne.
  • Russians usually drink on holidays and don't do it every day.
  • Especially vodka.
