There are a lot of myths about Russia which are popular to laugh at in many countries and I want to tell you something interesting about it.
The first myth is about harshness of our climate.
Well, in some parts of Russia the climate is really harsh and the temperature is very low.
But at the south part, for example, the temperature in winter doesn't usually get lower than minus 10-15°C.
And in summer the temperature is about 35-40°C in shadow!
That's super hot, isn't it?
The second one is about bears.
I really don't know why people think that they are our pets, but that's not true, we afraid of them really much!
(And some of us didn't see them in life at all).
Balalayka is also not the most common musical instrument.
Just a little people can play it.
And the last one is about vodka.
In cities you won't see a boozer in a usual day or in a weekend, we cannot drink vodka as water and feel okay about it.
Men usually drink beer, whisky or cognac if they do.
And women prefer wine or champagne.
Russians usually drink on holidays and don't do it every day.
Especially vodka.
