Owing to the problems of prevention or cure, researching and treating are too expensive, and i completely agree to invest in preventative measures.
Firstly, prevention means healthy and balances life and this, in my opinion, is the key for longevity.
A long-term based cure is the way to live well and without any healthy problems.
Secondly, even in our days there are illnesses which can not be cured and that can cause a premature death.
We have to prevent them promoting this slogan and changing the way who people thinks.
Probably, this is not the easiest way, because changing people mind it is a long and insidious path which states and politicians have to face it as soon as possible.
Furthermore, I am pretty sure that with the right attitude the things can be changed in better.
For instance, the Big Problem of Junk Food.
Junk food causes every year plenty of dead, but we are still promoting it in all the possible ways.
People love it and companies care just about profit.
In the other hand, of course there are sicknesses which can not be prevent, but we are talking about a minor part of the whole illnesses.
About that it is essential to go on in the research fields and trying to solve problems which couldn’t be solved yet.
But we are not talking about the priority topic; we have to focus our forces on what really matter (prevention) and after changes starting to look for new solutions.
In conclusion, although researches are essential for our community and our wellness, the most important problem is about prevention.
I really think that our society needs a big change and this change must be start from the high; our politicians, our big companies and our state have to change our minds in a positive way.
