Nowadays, traveling abroad has become very common and more and more people choose to spend their holyday in another country.

The first reason to this phenomenon is the fact that the price of a plane ticket has reduced significantly these past decades.

Low-cost companies appeared and broke up the market, allowing many people to afford traveling to foreign countries, which was considered as a luxury 20 or 30 years ago.

Obviously, tourism is not the only reason why people travel at the present time.

There are also a lot of workers and businessmen.

Indeed, with the increase of multinational companies, many employees have to travel abroad for their work as well as entrepreneurs who deal business at an international scale.

There is another category of travelers that has appeared thanks to universities programs such as Erasmus.

These programs prompt students to live and study abroad for one year are so.

Moreover, this kind of travelers goes back home regularly to see their friends and family.

Finally, thanks to the internet and other types of media, people have access to a lot of information about different kind of cultures throughout the globe.

Many countries developed their tourism thanks to an efficient marketing and communication, attracting tourists through videos, TV or even through the cinema.

In conclusion, traveling abroad has increased a lot these last years for many reasons: lower prices of flying tickets, raising number of multinationals, financial help to study abroad and the impact of the media upon people´s views about foreign countries.

We can presume that, in the future, transports will keep improving, reducing the time of traveling and thus increasing the international travel rate.
