  • Some people think that young people should follow in their parents' footsteps when choosing a profession.
  • It is believed that youngsters ought to choose a profession their parents chose, but some people think this is a wrong decision.
  • In my essay I will express my and opposing points of view.
  • In my view, teenagers should choose a profession themselves for severeal reasons.
  • Firstly, they learn to be independent of their parents and make important decisions without somebody's help.
  • Secondly, there is no guarantee that profession teenagers parents have will be interesting for a younger generation.
  • Meanwhile some people suppose that young people will experience a lot of problems unless they follow in their parents' footsteps.
  • In their opinion, teenagers will not have someone to lean on besides they go into a chosen profession without knowing what it is like.
  • I cannot agree with this statement because a younger generation can get the idea of a chosen profession thanks to the Internet and other people.
  • In conclusion, I would like to say that teenagers must be more independent when it comes to choosing a profession.
  • They should count on themselves only and not fear of difficulties.
  • But of course young people should listen to their parents because they are much more experienced and can help if teenagers are not able to solve a problem on their own.
