Some people think that young people should follow in their parents' footsteps when choosing a profession.
It is believed that youngsters ought to choose a profession their parents chose, but some people think this is a wrong decision.
In my essay I will express my and opposing points of view.
In my view, teenagers should choose a profession themselves for severeal reasons.
Firstly, they learn to be independent of their parents and make important decisions without somebody's help.
Secondly, there is no guarantee that profession teenagers parents have will be interesting for a younger generation.
Meanwhile some people suppose that young people will experience a lot of problems unless they follow in their parents' footsteps.
In their opinion, teenagers will not have someone to lean on besides they go into a chosen profession without knowing what it is like.
I cannot agree with this statement because a younger generation can get the idea of a chosen profession thanks to the Internet and other people.
In conclusion, I would like to say that teenagers must be more independent when it comes to choosing a profession.
They should count on themselves only and not fear of difficulties.
But of course young people should listen to their parents because they are much more experienced and can help if teenagers are not able to solve a problem on their own.
