A WAY TO CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT FROM THE COLLEGE In view of the fact that our college is little concerned about environmental issues, the student committee has decided to make some proposals to improve the environment.

A BETTER USE OF THE ENERGY The student committee believes that an improvement in the energy efficiency could be done.

This would be a great fact for our environment and a way to save money for the college.

For instance, it would be a good idea to change the lights of the hall.

They are all the time switched on.

Then if the college instals led bulbs, not only we will not reduce the pollution to the atmosphere but also, the college will spend less money because those bulbs are energy-saving.

EMPLOY ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PRODUCTS We have paid attention to the products used by the charwomen of the college.

They are very harmful for the environment.

Thus, from our point of view, those products should be changed by others which do not damage our planet.

Although they are more expensive, the student committee are determined to carry out a campaign to collect money from the students of the college.

WASTE We know that the college waste a lot due to the fact that there are thousands of students studying in it, it has got a big dining room...

Therefore, as it is impossible to reduce the wastes, as far as we are concerned, recycle is a good way to take advantage of them.

Thus, in our view, it is important to instal different trash bins for the plastic, the garbage, the pieces of glass and so on.
