Dear Mr Peabody, I saw your advertisement in the latest edition of Huffingnton Post journal and I am writting to apply for the bar and restaurant staff position.

I am a twenty years-old gastronomy student interested in expand my horizons in the hotel industry.

I have a great deal of experience as a kitchen assistant due to the fact that I have been working at the kitchen’s of muy parent’s restaurant since I was 14 years old, and even before I used to accompany them during theirs workdays helping in any way possible.

Besides working at my family bussines, I participated in a cocktail course which prepared me to serve any drink.

Even though English is not my native language I have recently got an Advanced level certificate.

Moreover, to improve my language skills I spent the last summer in Edinburgh participating in an Au Pair program.

I am confident I would be well suited to the job: I am willing to work long hours and profit this oppotunity to demonstrate my cuisine abilities and to give the best of me.
