  • This is the film about a family which live in the forest and do have little contact with the world.
  • Their mother has committed suicide because of serious mental illness, so the family is trying to restore emotional balance and also they have to visit their relatives in town.
  • I had read an opinion that this movie was a mockery of hippie families, but I didn't see any excessive irony.
  • On the contrary, this movie can seem a bit moralistic and biased.
  • The children are so beautiful, vivacious and self-confident as if they advertised their lifestyle.
  • But I can't understand why the father teaches children to survive but he doesn't teach them to cooperate and help each other.
  • I think this family could be strong only if it was really close-knit.
  • Why do you need to know "Bill of Rights" if you live in the forest?
  • I also have lots of other questions...
  • And I am still sure that it unacceptable to steal things in supermarkets.
  • Even if you are a pretty sad child who needs some fun just after mother's death.
  • This story would be completely different in real life.
