I'll try not to spoil this film for those of you who have not watched it yet.
This is the film about a family which live in the forest and do have little contact with the world.
Their mother has committed suicide because of serious mental illness, so the family is trying to restore emotional balance and also they have to visit their relatives in town.
I had read an opinion that this movie was a mockery of hippie families, but I didn't see any excessive irony.
On the contrary, this movie can seem a bit moralistic and biased.
The children are so beautiful, vivacious and self-confident as if they advertised their lifestyle.
But I can't understand why the father teaches children to survive but he doesn't teach them to cooperate and help each other.
I think this family could be strong only if it was really close-knit.
Why do you need to know "Bill of Rights" if you live in the forest?
I also have lots of other questions...
And I am still sure that it unacceptable to steal things in supermarkets.
Even if you are a pretty sad child who needs some fun just after mother's death.
This story would be completely different in real life.
