Julia wanted to go to Jillian's house to play because Jullian had the best dress-up clothes.
Momma made a quick phone call to get permission from Jillian's mom, then walked Julia over to her house.
Before long Jillian and Julia were pulling dress-up clothes from a big trunk.
They played all afternoon.
They changed dresses, and wore different hats.
But no matter what clothes Julia had on, she always wore the pretty blue and white sparkly necklace.When Julia came home, she bring the necklace too.
She didn't mean to steal the necklace from her friend.
That night, she couldn't sleep.
"Jillian probably won't want to be my friend anymore", she thought.
Early next morning Julia went to her mom and told her the whole story.
"Thank you for telling me.
Now, let's go talk to Jillian together," Mom said.
