Some people think that young people should follow in their parents' footsteps when choosing a profession
Choosing a profession can be sometimes a real hardship.
There are people who think that young people should be engaged in one and the same profession their parents are.
However, some people state that the younger generation ought to choose a profession without following parents' footsteps.
So,who is right?
In my view, we should choose a profession ourselves.
Firstly, making such tough decisions makes us more mature,independent and responsible for our future.
Secondly, our parents will not be to blame if it turns out that profession does not make us happy and brings us satisfaction.
But there are people who advise young people to follow their parents' footsteps.
They think that we will know much more about profession and parents will always be ready to help us if something goes wrong.
I cannot disagree with this statement but I strongly believe that we must be independent and choose a profession which we really like.
In conclusion I would like to say that we work almost half our lives so it is cruical to have a job that is really to your taste.
Young people should rely on themselves when choosing a profession because it will help us to make our own way.
