First of all, it must be said that the Maasai are the most popular and friendly African tribe.
Therefore, they become a tourist attraction unfortunately.
Nevertheless, nowadays their lives are truly hard.
They live in a kind of neighbourhood called kraal.
Because they are farmers mainly, their herd and livestock occupy a special situation in the centre of the kraal, in order to protect them.
Their farm animals such as cows, goat, sheep are protect by the fences, which are built by Maasai male.
Besides, Maasai male build the fences of kraal in order to protect Maasai people from wild animals.
On the other hand, the Maasai female are in charge of building and keeping the Maasai house…also they have other daily chores such as: to bring water, milking, to take care of children, etc.
As you can see they live freely in the middle of nature, honestly in a beautiful environment.
But there are downsides too; they haven’t got childhood because of their obligations.
Maasai aged 6 have many duties, which grow like they.
At the age of 13 they are warriors, and they are elders when they are 30 years old.
Personally I believe that it is advisable to protect and respect them.
