The former American president, Mr. Barack Obama, will be staying in Milan for two days.

Before leaving Boston, he defended his European-like healthcare act to the hilt, and turned to the Congress’s bravery to safeguard it beyond the party’s rules.

He stated this at the Profile Courage Award held in Boston.

Referring to those who had voted for the Obama Care, he said: “It is my fervent hope as well as for millions of people that an act of bravery will be possible despite the parties.

I hope that the actual members of the Congress focus on the facts and tell the truth, even though it is in conflict with the parties’ rules”.

The Chamber of representatives passed the bill with a handful of votes (217 aye on 213 no), but now it has arrived at the senate where the republicans have discordant opinions about it.
