IN ARKANSAS – The rock found by the 12 year-old guy from North Carolina, who with the family was visiting the park, has a value of $15,000 (like €11,000).

In the deposit, which dates back to 100 millions of years ago, is closer to Murfreesboro, the first diamonds were found in 1906.

After several series of authorisations of extractions finished badly, the deposit has become a park in Arkansas since 1972.

According to statistics, the diamonds which have been found are 75,000 till now, the most important in 1924, when it was discovered a rock of 40 carats.
